Terms and Conditions for End of Tenancy, Post-Works, and Pre-Tenancy Cleaning Services
Please carefully review the following terms and conditions. By booking a service with Spotless Shine Cleaning, you acknowledge and agree to these terms. We reserve the right to update these conditions as necessary, with any modifications published on our official website.
Service Scope
Our cleaning services follow standardized protocols unless otherwise specified by the client. Should you have particular requirements or require additional services, please communicate these in advance.
Pricing and Quotations
Service pricing is determined based on the greater of either the total number of bedrooms or the overall property size. Spotless Shine Cleaning reserves the right to amend the final quotation if service requirements change or upon property assessment.
Property Access and Utilities
- Clients must ensure that electricity and running water are available at the property throughout the cleaning service. Spotless Shine Cleaning is not responsible for incomplete work or service delays resulting from the absence of these utilities.
- The client is responsible for ensuring access to the premises at the scheduled time. If access is provided via keys, they must grant entry to all required areas.
- Spotless Shine Cleaning assumes no liability for triggered alarms during service. Clients must provide detailed instructions regarding alarm systems if applicable.
- While we endeavor to adhere to scheduled appointment times, unforeseen delays beyond our control may occasionally occur.
Payment Terms
Accepted Payment Methods
- Bank Transfer: Private clients must complete payment prior to the scheduled cleaning date. Payment details, including invoices, will be issued via email. Late or non-payment may result in service cancellation.
- Cheque: Payable to Spotless Shine Cleaning Ltd. Cheques must be cleared before the scheduled service for private clients. Corporate clients adhere to a 30-day post-service payment period.
Non-Payment Policy
- Spotless Shine Cleaning reserves the right to take legal action to recover outstanding payments. Non-paying clients may be reported to financial institutions or listed in debtor records.
- Late payments may incur additional fees. By booking our services, you accept full responsibility for timely payment as per these terms.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
- Clients may cancel or reschedule an appointment with a minimum of 48 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made within 48 hours of the appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the total invoice amount.
- Appointment modifications must be requested via phone or email.
- Spotless Shine Cleaning reserves the right to decline any job if property conditions pose a health or safety risk to our staff. Additionally, services may be rescheduled or canceled due to unforeseen operational constraints.
Insurance and Liability Coverage
- Spotless Shine Cleaning is fully insured under Public Liability Insurance.
- Any damage or breakages must be reported within 24 hours of service completion for assessment.
- We reserve the right to investigate claims and withhold disclosure of internal documentation at our discretion.
Claims and Refunds
- Refunds are not issued once a cleaning service has been completed.
- If a client is dissatisfied with the service, they must notify us within 24 hours. Spotless Shine Cleaning will assess concerns and may offer a re-clean or another appropriate resolution.
- A maximum of one re-cleaning session is permitted per booking.
- In cases of accidental damage, we will attempt to repair the affected item. If repairs are not feasible, a credit equivalent to the current value of the item may be provided.
Exclusions and Limitations of Liability
Spotless Shine Cleaning is not liable for the following:
- Actions of third parties or incidents occurring on the property during the cleaning service.
- Loss or damage to high-value or irreplaceable items, including cash, jewellery, artwork, and antiques. Clients must secure such items in advance.
- Pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or stains that cannot be fully removed with standard cleaning techniques.
- Malfunctions or issues related to appliances, carpets, or furniture that require proper maintenance or installation.
- Freezers that were not defrosted prior to our team’s arrival.
- End-of-tenancy cleaning outcomes when personal belongings or occupants remain on the premises.
- Damage resulting from placing furniture on carpets that have not fully dried post-cleaning.
- Damage arising from defective or client-provided cleaning equipment or supplies.
- Cleaning tasks not explicitly listed in non-end-of-tenancy services.
Additional Conditions
- Spotless Shine Cleaning cannot guarantee the effectiveness of end-of-tenancy cleaning if construction work is ongoing or if individuals are present during the service.
- We uphold high professional standards and employ industry-approved methods to achieve optimal cleaning results. However, certain limitations apply based on the property's pre-existing condition.
